Thoughtfully designed, the machine offers helpful indicator lights, a high-pressure safety valve, adjustable automatic shut-off, and a large 5-cup removable water tank with a visible water level for convenient filling. Other highlights include simple push-button controls, an interchangeable single or double dispenser, a cup warmer, and a removable drip tray for easy cleanup. The 1150-watt espresso machine measures 13 by 14 by 14-1/2 inches.

Review from an Amazon.com customer

It was easy to set up and get going. I love the bean grinder. The doser is great too. You just have to keep and eye on it, it’s small. It makes great espresso the first time. It has a disc to help with that. You can remove it and tamp hard the old fashion way. For the price range it’s a good buy. I have 3 different types of coffee makers now. This is my favorite. I use it to make American’s each morning instead of brewing a pot in the conventional machine.

What makes a good coffee house?

jonah Asked: Question for The Coffee Drinker?

The franchised Coffee house like Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Peets etc.
versus
The neighborhood Coffee house.

Q:What type do you like and why? What makes a good coffee house for you?

Answers:

Peter Answered:
well if i go to a coffee house i expect that after a week the counter people know my order and fill it as i wait in line…

amyhaha Answered:
I’ve come to realize there are two types of coffee-shop aficionados; the artsy type that likes live music, unique local art and a “cool” hangout, and the kind that just likes to go somewhere quiet for a little while. I’m definitely in the second category, and the national chains seem to really fit that bill better.

I don’t mind local shops though, there are actually a few in my area I like a lot. But I’ve noticed that local coffee houses that don’t support the local art “scene” don’t last long. Regardless though, the best coffee shops are the ones with friendly employees, a sustainable mentality, comfy couches, and plenty of outlets (for guitar amps or laptops, whichever you prefer 🙂

DDMQ Answered:
I prefer local cafes, really.

Starbucks and other coffee corporations are for the pretentious and annoying, I’d like to drink my coffee without having to hear about how horrible the government is or why religious people are idiots.

I prefer plain old coffee with some sugar and a little bit of milk in it. And the ideal environment would for me would be a medium colored area with many windows and perhaps a fireplace. And OLD jazz playing in the background.

What is the best coffee maker?

Michal Khalid Asked: What is the best coffee maker?

I want to buy one. Which brand or brands you prefer or suggest? Thanks.

Answers:

chocolahoma Answered:
A keurig machine makes a nice single cup of coffee, but the little pre-measured coffee pods are very expensive.

A press-style maker is fun to use.You simply put coffee grounds at the bottom, pour in hot water and use the plunger thing to press the grounds to the bottom before pouring your drink. If you don’t serve all at once, though, the remaining coffee at the bottom can get quite strong.

All kinds of drip coffee makers are cheap and available everywhere and make a reliable drink.

An espresso machine is expensive, but is essential if you want Starbucks-style mochas and cappuccinos.

fyerfyter2001 Answered:
Get a press pot, aka French press. Makes the best flavored coffee and is just as quick overall as using any other maker.Buy your beans whole and grind them just prior to making the coffee.

You’ll never go back to any other method. The only thing that can compare for flavor extraction is espresso.

Best coffee at Starbucks for someone who doesn’t like strong coffee?

Marr Asked: Best coffee at Starbucks for someone who doesn’t like strong coffee?

I love coffee, but I hate it plain or strong. What’s something good at Starbucks? Also, what’s in a latte? I tried one once and loved it. Thanks!

Answers:

Kirsten Anderson Answered:
A latte is your best choice. It’s Coffee made with milk not water.

Victoria Answered:
I get a frappuccino although it has no coffee unless you ask for a shot. it’s very strong but i don’t like coffee at all.

MilkyBarKid16 Answered:
A latte isn’t very strong, its just a load of hot milk with a shot of espresso

Dowhatnow Answered:
Latte has milk & sugar in in. Both of which take away the strong or bitter coffee taste. Try a frappuccino. Its like a coffee smoothie.

Got Pomchi Answered:
White chocolate mochas are amazing! If you like it less strong, just ask for extra flavoring to offset the coffee. Lattes are basically coffee with most of the water replaced by milk, making it rich and creamy if you use whole milk like me. I’m drinking one now actually lol. I have a home espresso maker and make at least 4 lattes a day. Best $20 investment ever!

Oiitsme Answered:
Tea
