I have a coffee maker and my coffee is never good. Any tricks to spice it up a bit or add some flavor?

Clean the coffee maker thoroughly and make sure it is rinsed out very well. Use fresh-ground coffee. Level the grounds in the basket, otherwise you get a mixture of weak and strong instead of a balanced brew.

GOOD WATER!!!! bottled water or distilled water works best to make either coffee or tea!
Maybe your coffee maker is old and has old coffee residue on it. you can put white vinegar in it and boil it a few times to remove it or get a new one. Notice how much coffee you put in it; maybe its too weak or strong. And……………best of all……………just put a pinch of salt on top of the coffee before you perk it and it will take away the bitterness and give you a nice smooth cup of coffee. Learned it from a popular restaurant that sells lots of coffee.
Cheap coffee requires flavour. Good quality coffee doesn’t.
1 Make sure your coffee maker is clean each time you use it to help not build up any residue
2 use good water sometimes if your tap water has a funky taste so will your coffee
3 use good quality coffee beans get a coffee bean grinder and buy them whole and follow the directions while making coffee.
4 you may need a new coffee maker in general
5 you can add cinnamon sticks to your coffee grinds orange peel a single clove (whole)
6 try different coffee creamers
7 add some chocolate syrup to your already brewed coffee with your cream and sugar
8 make your own coffee creamers look up recipes online
9 try different coffee grounds like flavored ones etc
10 add caramel and other things to your coffee experiment with flavors until you find the right one
good luck hope this helped
I have an old cowboy coffee percolator for campfires. I swear that makes the best coffee I’ve ever had. I shall not replace it with one of those new things they have out. Tried coffee out of them and it does not taste good at all.
There’s so many factors regarding the final product –
The actual coffee (type, blend, origin), the coffee maker, and added ingredients and the process put together.
But practice is also a factor :]
