Q&A: What is the best coffee to drink black?

Question by Shining: What is the best coffee to drink black?
I’m not a coffee drinker, in fact I hate coffee. So what is the best brand/type of coffee to drink if I’m planning on drinking it black without any creamer or added sugar?

I’ve tried Starbucks Espresso Roast in “bold” and it tastes really nasty and makes me feel like vomiting.

Oh and what does bold, medium, mild or whatever mean?

You need “Kopi Luwak” coffee …………. up to $ 600 per pound and made from beans that have been eaten, then crapped out by civets.

It’s supposed to be the best, and smoothest coffee in the world because the civets only eat the best beans, and have an enzyme in their stomach that changes the flavour of the beans

What is the best quality coffee/espresso machine?

Question by Katy: What is the best quality coffee/espresso machine?
I want to buy my parents a coffee/espresso combo machine for their anniversary but I don’t know which ones will last and work well. Links would be greatly appreciated!

I LOVE my DeLonghi Magnifica 3300, and it’s usually one of the very highest rated too ….. It has a bean reservoir, and grinds fresh for each cup(s); a water reservoir, so you just push a button to brew; a ground dispenser reservoir (so you don’t have to empty grinds all the time); a frother; you can select strength or how large the cup(s) is …….. You can get them at Bed, Bath & Beyond … or Linen & Things, and probably Williams Sonoma or Crate & Barrel. You can also find them NEW in the box, on eBay. Expect to pay at least $ 700; and I think the MSRP is closer to $ 1300+

Q&A: What is the best coffee grinder to get?

Question by sage: What is the best coffee grinder to get?
I am trying to achieve a good cup of homemade coffee…I have already put a question out there on a good coffee maker but now I need your opinion on the best coffee grinder to purchase?

Best answer:

Answer by califblnd
You can purchase a burr grinder which has different settings for, espresso, french press and drip or you can just purchase a small grinder, but if you’re going to use it for french press, drip and espresso you will need to know the right grind for the brewing process, where as the burr grinder again has the proper settings for this.

–> Here’s a link to a Mr. Coffee Burr Grinder on sale at Amazon.com.

Which coffee Machine brand is the best for coffee lovers for home use?

swirlwind Asked: Which coffee Machine brand is the best for coffee lovers for home use?

We have recognised we spend to much on coffee out and therefore decided to invest in a good Machine that will produce a cafe like coffee, we are coffee lovers. We live in Australia so any advise ?

Answers:

Adriana Silverstone Answered:
They have one of these at work and I make great coffee with it. Caf Series Espresso Machine EM6910. The coffees you create at home will make you the envy of all your friends. The Caf Series Espresso Machine is designed with twin pumps and twin heating systems, allowing you to texture milk and prepare a rich, velvety espresso at the same time. When combined the taste and texture of that first sip will impress the toughest of critics.

Phoebe X Answered:
Can you get a machine called ‘Tassimo‘ where you are? They make amazing coffee. The only trouble is, the machines are quite expensive and so are the discs used to make the drinks but on the plus side, it saves energy as you are not boiling your kettle all the time, and it tastes much better than tea bag tea or normal granulated coffee. Google Tassimo machine and you’ll get more info on them.

Kevin Anthony Answered:
Tassimo is popular in the states, if your not too particular there’s always Mr. Coffee.

Combat Veteran Answered:
My advise is to forget all the newfangled coffee machines and get a percolator. Percolated coffee is always the best.

Nicole Answered:
Nescaf Dolce Gusto coffee machines are the way forward! I’m not sure if you’d be able to get them in Australia, but I don’t see what the problem would be of trying. You basically buy ‘pods’ which you place into the machine and then turn on the hot water which pierces through the pod which contains the coffee and then good quality coffee comes out instantly warm! The machine is great and easy to use and I would highly recommend the machines to anyone. All you need are the pods and water, and sugar if you have a sweet tooth. The pods come in many different kinds such as mocha, cappuccino, latte, americano, espresso… the list goes on! You can choose between making iced or hot coffee just by the flick of a button! When you first buy a machine you’ll get a pack of examples of the coffee which are great!

Does really good quality coffee taste delicious without cream and sugar?

Question by caltam84: Does really good quality coffee taste delicious without cream and sugar?
I love coffee. But regular black coffee has an unpleasant bitter taste. I add cream and sugar in coffee because it tastes nasty without them and its unpleasant bitterness.

Have you tried Blue Mountain coffee brand imported from Jamaica? How was it? This coffee is hand picked from the high elevations. What other coffee brands do you consider are best qualities?

Best answer:

Answer by sweetxoheart992
i normally just drink milk and sugar.

Answer by BD
YES!!!  The best coffees do not need cream and sugar because there is no bitterness.  Of course you may still enjoy adding cream and/or sugar because you like the flavor with those additions.

What is the best tasting gourmet coffee?

Question by Texas10950: What is the best tasting gourmet coffee?
I have been looking for some great healthy gourmet coffee in Houston want wanted to know is anyone know where I can buy some online.

Best answer:

Answer by Ahsirt
I don’t know if it’s considered Gourmet, but I LOVE Seattle’s Best. It’s just so yummy and smooth. mmmm. Burger King uses Seattle’s Best if you want to try it before ordering it online. I believe you can buy it at the grocery store. I’m from Nevada, so I’m not sure if they’ll have it there in Houston (grocery store or Burger King). Border’s (the book store) sells it in their cafe.

You can search for the dealers, suppliers from a B2B website. You will get the contact details and product information from the suppliers itself. Try http://www.hellotrade.com to search suppliers for coffee.

Maybe kopi luwak(at around $300-400 per pound), It really depends on your taste.I like a lot of the Rwandan coffee’s.A good way to find what is good now is to go see the cup of excellence winners are and buy some of those beans.I roast my own beans at home and I agree its definitely not Starbucks.

Thedude27 Answered:
Definitely not Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. But that’s a general question because everyone has their own opinion. Plus there’s over a million different coffee shops around the world and over a million different types of coffee and a lot of different ways to make the coffee. If u want a more specific answer Google it and find out if there has been any polls on that question to see if there’s a majority vote on the subject.

Coffee Guy Answered:

Of course you can weigh in on the subject at the best coffee in the world survey.
